Two nights ago all the ladies of my family went out to see the ballet “The Nutcracker!”  I hadn’t been to a ballet in years and was so moved by the beautiful dancing, costumes, and scenery that we saw during the performance.  The Ohio Theater where the ballet was held is so spectacular!  Built in 1927 it is rich with history and tradition.  This classic ballet fit perfectly in the beautiful venue.  It was so nice to see everyone in the city dressed up for a night out, the little girls in their holiday best was just too adorable!

My outfit was definitely “ballet inspired!”  I have had this skirt from Anthropologie for quite awhile and didn’t really have an occasion to wear it for.  That all changed when my mom told me we had tickets to see the ballet!  This skirt is so feminine and sweet and the tulle makes it perfect for any ballerina wannabe.  While I haven’t been able to locate this exact one on Anthropologie’s website I did see it in the store here in Columbus on sale.  I will also link a few others from them that are similar.  A big “ballet bun” completes the look and the fur stole adds a touch of glam.
