When I first envisioned starting a blog this outfit immediately came to mind! This Rudsak jacket is so sophisticated and absolutely perfect for this time of year. All you have to do it through it over a basic T-Shirt or long sleeve shirt and you are good to go! The coat moves well, is extremely comfortable and the leather sleeves give it that little touch of edge. 🙂 Be prepared to fall in love with it the second you try it on. I for sure did! I bought this in September while on a girls trip to Vancouver. It wasn’t on my radar at all but I couldn’t resist when the salesperson brought it over for me to try on.
For those of you not familiar with Rudsak it’s a Canadian brand based out of Montreal. They have 31 stores in Canada and unfortunately don’t ship to the US. It looks like you can buy some of the pieces at Macy’s. Their puffer coats are to die for! I hope to add one to my coat collection one of these years. They are so different from your everyday puffer that you usually see. I would highly recommend stopping in one of their stores next time you visit Canada to check out their amazing pieces!

Well here it is my very first blog post! I am so excited to embark on this adventure and give you all a peek into my style diary. No better way to start off then with one of my all time favorite holidays (behind Christmas of course) THANKSGIVING!
I just love everything about Thanksgiving. The food, time spent with family and friends, the weather, the colors of fall, the wine ;), I’ll even admit hearing football games playing in the background on TV all day warms my heart. And for the record I know NOTHING about football. But what a great time to relax and be with the ones you love! We have so much to be thankful for.
So for me being an American living in Canada I feel so lucky to celebrate TWO Thanksgivings! And yes we always celebrate both. Any excuse for turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing and I am in! This year we hosted our American celebration at our house with some of our greatest friends. The boys had football on while the girls cooked, gabbed, and drank wine. It was seriously a great day and I am so thankful for the wonderful people in my life! All that was missing was my family back in Columbus but I will be heading their way for Christmas this year!

Well there it is the first post! Be patient with me as I get the hang of this blogging thing. 😉 Please stop back to see more looks in the near future.
